Shipping policy

Shipping Method

We ship from Japan with Japan Post. You can choose one of the following at checkout:

• Economy Air (International ePacket Light): orders up to 2 kg, tracked, not insured.
• EMS (Express Mail Service): up to 30 kg, tracked and insured.

Orders over 2 kg, and items longer than 60 cm, can only be shipped by EMS.
Shipping fees are calculated from the total weight of your order (product weight plus packaging) using Japan Post's official rates. There is no free shipping.

Delivery usually takes about 2 weeks, but may take up to 4 weeks depending on the method, season, weather and postal conditions.

Processing Time

In-stock items are shipped within 7 business days (no shipping on weekends and Japanese public holidays).
Made-to-order and back-ordered items may take several months; details are shown on each product page. If it will take more than six months, we will notify you by email. Payment is taken at the time of ordering.

Tracking

We email you the tracking number when your order ships. You can check the status on the Japan Post tracking site:

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Import duties, taxes (such as VAT/GST) and customs clearance fees are not included in our prices or shipping fees, and are paid by the recipient to the carrier or customs on delivery (DAP), unless stated otherwise at checkout.

• European Union: VAT and any customs duty are collected on delivery.
• United States: Japan Post requires duties to be declared and paid in advance for shipments to the US.
• United Kingdom: We currently do not ship to the UK from this store. Please purchase our products on eBay.

We cannot change the declared value or mark orders as gifts.

Damaged Packages

If a package arrives visibly damaged, please do not accept it and check the contents with your local post office staff, then contact us.
